Families expecting a subsequent baby, who would like a quick refresher to prepare for this next birth, will find this one evening class the perfect solution. Whether preparing for a home or a hospital birth, this class will help you remember what worked and what didn’t work with previous birth(s), providing opportunities to explore new options for the upcoming birth. Also covered is preparing to welcome this new baby into your present family.

An inventory of class needs will be taken during the first few minutes of the class.

Topics include:

• What you learned from your previous pregnancies and births
• What you’d like to do differently this time
• Differences between first and subsequent pregnancies and births
• Comfort measures, movement and positioning
• When to go to the hospital
• Review of medical options
• Welcoming another baby to the family
• Breastfeeding

Cost for this evening course is $30.00 for mother and one support person.

This class is for adults only. Due to space considerations, please confirm number of attendees prior to the tour. We may not be able to accommodate more than 2 support people per pregnant woman.
